SoloBio

About

A family business, built on relationships that last.

Since 1993, one mission: bringing genuine certified Italian organics to foreign markets — one personal visit, one honest agreement at a time.

The SoloBio story

SoloBio began in 1993 with a simple conviction:
that the small Italian organic producers doing the most honest work deserved a trustworthy route to markets abroad — and that importers deserved a real person standing behind every
recommendation.

For over three decades, the practice has stayed the same: we personally visit every producer before we ever recommend them. We see the land, meet the people, taste the work.
Nothing reaches an importer that we haven’t stood in front of ourselves.

Registered as Solo Bio di Sabrina Sanlej, it is a family business now carried forward across generations —
the same relationships, deepened by
time, and the same refusal to treat
sourcing as a transaction.

What we hold to.

01

Producers with a story

We deliberately favour producers with a philosophy and a history — a Modena balsamic family at it for a century, a farming cooperative organic since 1984, a Calabrian mill certified since 1990. We tell their stories with warmth, and protect their identity as a matter of principle.

02

Real sustainability

Certified organic in substance, not as a label of convenience. We state credentials in plain words and work only with genuinely certified producers.

03

Long-term, mutual relationships

We build trade that lasts for both sides — fair terms for producers,
reliability for importers, and a single point of contact who stays through every season.

Thirty years of trust, one conversation away.

Tell us what you’re looking to source — we’ll advise on the right producers.
